GREYBULL - Memorial services for lifetime Greybull resident Bette Margaret Oliver Huffman, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Atwood Family Funeral Chapel with the Greybull DOES Drove No. 30 officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery of Greybull.

A gathering for family and friends will take place at the Elks Lodge in Greybull immediately following the graveside committal service.

Cremation has taken place.

She died July 15, 2005, at Billings Deaconess Hospital.

A native of Greybull, she was born July 23, 1923, the daughter of Clarence E. and Margaret J. Stearley Oliver. She attended school in Greybull.

On Nov. 13, 1939, she married Eugene Allen "PeeWee" Huffman.

Known as a wonderful cook, she worked many years at several restaurants in the Greybull area and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

She was an active member of the Greybull DOES Drove No. 30 Lodge and was past president for the DOES.

Survivors include her daughter, Gari Jean Kershner of Powell; her son, Roger Huffman and his wife of Medford, Ore.; a brother, John Oliver and his wife of Greybull; three grandsons; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and her son-in-law.
