EVANSTON - Funeral services for Catherine Jean Price Lym, 80, will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at the Hilliard LDS Chapel.
Visitation will be held today, July 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, and again one hour prior to the services at the church.
She died peacefully at her home July 15, 2005.
A Casper native, she was born April 13, 1925, the daughter of Harry Harriman Price and Margaret McGraugh.
On April 22, 1950, she married Carl Redden Lym in Casper. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on Oct. 1, 1978. Her husband preceded her in death May 13, 2001.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed serving in the genealogy extraction program for the Hilliard Ward. She lived her entire life on a ranch where she enjoyed the mountains and livestock. In her later years, the highlights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, Carl J. of Brigham City, Utah, Dan of Fort Bridger, and Jim and Fub, both of Hilliard, and their wives; one daughter, Jean Cook of Evanston and her husband; and one sister, Margaret Lylte of Casper.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Carl and Kelly Lym; sisters Ilene Cook, Harriet McIntosh, Louise Robinson and Norma Cook; and a brother, Jim Price.
