Please take a look at newsmax.com and read the Kessler article titled The Real Barack Obama. Then vote for Hillary! She truly is a champion for ALL as well as being the most qualified candidate. "

" Another sold out event! Go Obama!
I was fortunate enough to see Michelle Obama (and Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver and Oprah and Stevie Wonder) at Pauley Pavillion @UCLA. If you have any questions about how early to get there let me encourage you...E-A-R-L-Y. I arrived at UCLA the night before so that I could be first in line. Folks started lining up at 5AM and the doors werent opening till 11AM. We stood outside in the rain and cold, on Superbowl Sunday for 6 hours. By the time doors opened, there were 12,000 people in line and we had only found out where the event would be 24hours beforehand.

It was AWESOME. I have never been a political person. I have never attended a rally or given money to a campaign in my life. I stood right there in front of the podium and I cried..the whole time. Lots of people did. I was moved. I was inspired...I was changed. For the first time in my LIFE, I began to ask myself what I can do FOR my country. I want to live in the kind of Country Barack Obama believes we are capable of having. Im an evangelical independent who will cast her vote for Obama in 2008. Yes WE Can. "

" Good Lord, Shelly, get a grip. You were actually CRYING? Obama is not Elvis, the Beatles, or the second coming of Christ. He is an woefully inexperienced, VERY liberal democrat who will be in WAY over his head if he somehow wins the Presidency. God help us all. "

" It's no longer possible to support Clinton without suspending logical thought. Her candidacy which I had hoped would be dignified and inspiring, has been that of a vindictive, hormonal teenager -- lies, tears, complaints, blame -- and one of the biggest disappointments of my adult life.

I've been watching candidates on both sides of the aisle carefully since the Dems made advances in Fall 2006, and of them all, the most truthful have all been fringe and with no chance of winning (e.g. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich) - except Obama and to a lesser extent McCain.

If you think Obama is anything but a pragmatic visionary then you're a victim of spin. Do your homework -- our beloved country is majority rule and I don't want to be your collateral damage. "

Cindy from Powell, WY wrote on Mar 6, 2008 6:26 PM:

" I did not care about politics all my adult life because the "35-years-of-experience"-crowd in Washington DC is not about my life. Barack Obama convinces me that he will sincerely bring change. I will happily support him on Saturday. BTW, Hillary couldnt win against McCain anyway. "

PA for Hillary wrote on Mar 6, 2008 6:40 PM:

" My HOPE is that people in Wyoming learn about these 2 candidates. and learn what differences they possess.

Senator Clinton is Clearly the stronger, smarter candidate to get this country back on track.
Senator Obama talks about Change, Hope and turning the page of Old Washington, yet surrounds himself with the Old political good 'ol boys. I listen and watch and I still can't tell you "why" he would be my choice. He talks,,,,and then talks some more. We certainly don't need a talker, we need a doer!

My state votes after Wyoming....I Hope, that Hillary will win your state as I am confident she will win PA.
We need Help, as much as Hope,,,and with Help comes Hope.

hmm, and imagine a woman in the WH...it just might finally end misogny! wow, wouldn't that be a nice extra benefit for young women!
Go Hillary! "

" Obama is running to be the president of the UNITED STATES of America, while Hillary is running for the big and blue states.

Obama is a uniter and will be the only candidate who can get both parties to have a working majority in D.C. Hillary is fighting her own party, do you really think Republicans will listen to her?

Taxpayers cannot afford ANOTHER Clinton administration with scandals, impeachments and secrets.

There is totally a reason she is not releasing her tax returns. She might as well do it now because she will get CREAMED BY REPUBLICANS later! "

Instead of reading a bunch of gushing, emotional blither, I'd rather read comments by someone who can explain how Bush managed to blow the 3 trillion dollar surplus that Bill Clinton left for him in 2000. I'm tired of "fighters"... we have enough of those in washington. and for goodness sake...can someone please tell me how a 60year old women can have 35 years of experience. Full of lies...and cheating by her husband turns me off. "

" Dear Star-Tribune,

It was first a tabloid article that caught my eye about Sen. Obama's campaign workers people handling skills.

An old Punahou HS school mate had just been released from prison & contacted the camapign for assistance, and the volunteers assumed that here was a hard-luck case looking for a handout. He was just trying to touch base with a former basketball team player from HS. The campaign directed this Afraican American AJA to social service agencies in California and kept him from actually talking to Sen. Obama.

Maybe this is good handling of potentaily nuisance blast from the past, but it left a bad taste in my recollection. Follow this up with reports of his supporters telling Canadians that Sen. Obama is not going to do anything to change NAFTA, this after accusing Sen. Clinton's past. It caught on in Ohio and it might catch on in Pennsylvania.

By-the-way, keeping Fluoride out of our drinking water as made into a C & C of Honolulu Ordinance several years ago.

Have a great caucus this Saturday from noon-7 PM. In our caucus in Nuuanu alone we had over 1,000 voters, and in Dallas, on caucus site stayed open till 4 AM, and was a hysterical situation, so much so that Dallas P.D. was called in to keep people from blocking the exits. One precinct worker took her voter registers and completed ballots home and when the County Chair was informed, a car chase was engaged. She must have been on her way to turn in the register and the ballots to the District/Region Chair, right?

Aloha from Hawaii,

" Barack Obama is someone who only comes along on the political scene once in every few generations.
He is the best thing that could happen to this country.
Do away with the polilics of personal destruction that gets us no where but allows the pols to line their pockets and amass power.
He is about the people and making this country proud again.
Millions of people are getting involved again and caring about their country because of Obama.
If he is not the nominee think of all the people who will stay away and not vote. He has stirred pride in the country and politics again. "

" From her campaign's conference call yesterday:
It was, in this reporter's opinion, the most interesting moment in today's Clinton campaign phoner with reporters. Responding to the release of HRC's new TX TV ad, which asserts in no subtle terms that only she has the experience to deal with a major world crisis, and, relatedly, to keep your children safe, Slate's John Dickerson asked the obvious question: "What foreign policy moment would you point to in Hillary's career where she's been tested by crisis?" he said. Silence on the call. You could've knit a sweater in the time it took the usually verbose team of Mark Penn, Howard Wolfson and Lee Feinstein, Clinton's national security director, to find a cogent answer. And what they came up with was weak -- that she's been endorsed by many high ranking members of the uniformed military. Take a listen... http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/archives/2008/02/pregnant_pause.html "

" Hillary promised 700,000 jobs for northern NY to win her senate election, today northern NY has -35,000 -- that's right they have LOST 35,000 JOBS. She did not deny that on the MSNBC debate. So now what is she promising that she cannot deliver. do you all know that this will be the THIRD TIME she tries to get health care past? She tried in Arkansas with the same disastrous results that almost ruined her husband's reputation. She tried again when she was in Washington -- we all know that even with a democratic senate and house she STILL FAILED, and now she wants us to believe that she can do it? Why? based upon what?

Would someone please tell me ONE THING SHE HAS DONE, one decision that she made, one negotiation that she's made that makes her qualified in foreign policy. JUST ONE "

She is now praising McCain -- how helpful is that to the party?

Come to find out SHE is the one who approached Canada about NAFTA.

The list goes on and on and on...

PLEASE, good people of WI: VOTE RESPONSIBLY. We cannot afford politics as usual any longer. "

" THis has gone on FAR too long. Clinton CAN NOT win more pledged delegates than Obama. She is instead willing to TEAR THE PARTY apart because she believes herself to be more important. That kind of selfishness and the derisive and divisive attacks coming from their campaing disgusts me. If Clinton somehow steals this from Obama, sign me up to vote for John McCain in the fall. And I'm not alone....I have many friends who feel the same way. GO OBAMA!!! "

Bill wrote on Mar 7, 2008 1:38 PM:

" Florida will have a redo of the 1.5 million voters who backed Hillary in January. With those delegates, she will win without the super delegates. It is Obama, who is tearing the party apart. Hillary could have run with only two years of experience in the Senate back in 2004. She waited her turn. Let Obama wait for his turn. If he's so talented, we'll need him in 2016. Or, is he afraid that more qualified people running in 2016, including Hispanics, will make him look like the light weight he really is? "

Deb wrote on Mar 8, 2008 8:52 AM:

" Let us be honest here. You can dig up trash on everyone. All the candidates have skeletons in the closet. Politics is about digging up trash because each candidate wants to win. I am a democrat and I think this is a historical period in our life time. Think about it-this is the first time a woman and a black man have made it this far. No matter what the democrats will come together and we will have a candidate. Hillary and Barack will not have enough delegates to win the presidency. It will come down to the Super Delegates. Hillary and Barack are both very similiar on their policies. Hillary wants health insurance for all, Barack's plan does not cover everyone. Negative campaigning has come from both campaign advisors. I do not believe that Barack and Hillary tell their people, go out and find out the most dirtiest little secrets. Barack's foreign advisor called Hillary a "monster" and she was fired. Do you actually believe Barack told his advisor to say this? Or Hillary told her advisor that Barack was Ken-Star like? No, this is politics people. What you need to decide is who will be the best candidate. You need to research and find out who would be the best candidate during this time of war and economic recession. Do not believe everything you read on the intranet. I actually laugh when people use Wikipedia as a reliable source! My last point is that Barack has not been in the public eye as long as Hillary, so you can scrutinize her record because of her experience. When I think of this presidency, I think that I am hiring a CEO of my company. Think about looking at both of Hillary's and Barack's resumes. Hillary's record indicates to me that she has served the public longer than Barack. Hillary's record shows me that she completed one full-term as senator. Hillary's record shows me that she has served on the Foreign Advisory Committee longer and has traveled to Iraq and met with the generals. Hillary's record shows me that she has been under pressure and scrutinized for a much longer time than Barack and she has always stood her ground. Barack is a good man. I just want him to serve a full term as Senator and to gain more experience. He is not ready yet and when you think about the delicate nature of our country, I want someone who is tough on foreign policy and is ready to lead. "
