PINEDALE -- A Sublette County man is still missing, but his pickup truck has been discovered in the Big Sandy area, near where the Rainbow Family gathering is taking place.

The son of Sublette County Sheriff Wayne Bardin has been missing since Saturday, and officials commenced a search for the 24-year-old Tuesday.

Garrett Bardin was last seen in his Lincoln Mark LT truck, headed south from Pinedale on U.S. Highway 191. The pickup was discovered Tuesday by a volunteer search team working in conjunction with the Sublette County Sheriff's Office, but Bardin has yet to be found, according to the sheriff's office.

Officials are asking anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of Bardin, or who might have seen him, to call 307-367-4894 or 307-367-4378.

Bardin is 5-foot-11 with brown hair and hazel eyes, and he weighs 175 pounds.
