Cynthia Lummis -- the best choice:

Of the candidates vying for Congress as our lone Wyoming representative, Cynthia is the only one who has extended experience in our Wyoming House and Senate. In her 14 years of service there, Cynthia has spent 10 as Wyoming state treasurer.

Her exceptional leadership and success in converting Wyoming's investment portfolio from $3.5 billion to a fully diversified portfolio which has increased it to $8.5 billion is amazing.

No wonder Cynthia was named the Wyoming Small Business Advocate of the Year. In 2007, Cynthia served on the subcommittee on royalty management that completed a performance audit on the Department of the Interior's federal mineral royalty collection and enforcement functions.

Cynthia presents the American point of view at sovereign wealth management conferences around the world. No one could deny that we need this kind of expertise on the federal level as a representative in Congress.

Cynthia believes that Wyoming people have the answers that Washington needs to make America energy independent. Her leadership in Wyoming's balanced budget and savings accounts are models for Washington to follow!

Cynthia is the only candidate with this kind of experience to represent our state. Vote for Cynthia Lummis as our representative!

" I take it this is your opinion only. Or do you work on the Lummis campaign agenda ? "

" Peg,

You are wrong on many fronts but most importantly you are just plain wrong. Cnthia served eight years (two terms) as Treasurer. And she did not take the fund from $3b to $8b the legislature did through mineral wealth.

A vote for Cynthia is a vote for another Cubin term. "

" Funny, I didn't see any articles in the CST about Lummis's dispute with a refinery that needs to build a retaining wall around it's perimeter as their operations are contaminating the groundwater. Seems she doesn't want to let them have an easement on her property to do the job, but would rather have them buy the property (which they aren't interested in doing) for quite a lot of loot. Yep, this is the kind of representaion we need for our state alright. Sounds like just another greedy politician to me. "

" (Disclaimer: I do not work on, am associated with, or have any connection to the Lummis campaign-- that should satisfy "Bull"--appropriate name, BTW).

"Truth", you need to check out the truth yourself. It was Cynthia who went to the Legislature, sought and successfully gained legislative approval to change the way the State Treasurer is allowed to invest Wyoming's money. It was in large part that change which allowed our portfolio to grow from $3.5 Billion to $11 billion, NOT the increase in mineral revenue----this Governor is spending just about every bit of new money we get--like a drunken sailor-- "
