The legends tell of Phoebus Obama, who sprang forth fully formed from the head of the god Soros -- with a little help from Dr. Tiller's scissors and 146 days in the Senate.

In those days was McCain in the seventh house and the party of Jackson did tremble. The white wizard -- in his 91st year -- did live to see the spirit of Khaos passed from the wizened bootlegger legacy to the Demo-god. Yet all but the Demo-god and his disciples could see that Ayers was human and leading them like a lamb to a slaughter or a wether underground.

This did not vex the disciples because guilt by association was a hill only the party of Lincoln died on -- except on flights connecting through the twin cities but that's another story.

High on the mountaintop, in the sacred dome of the Broncos, his foot touched the earth and khristos was announced. Thousands of carbon offsets were burned for his pleasure. Many fine fields of soy were laid waste.

On the morrow, however, there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth. From the north could be heard many hoof beats as the Amazonian queen leapt the bridge to nowhere and descended with hordes of disparate tribes confederated around her standard, flanked by many PUMAs. The battle would wage for several months hence, but it looked as if the auguries had finally come home to roost.
