I Have ran into a few people who think Barack Obama will take away their guns -- not even! He wants to make sure gangs do not have AK-47s, and you would have to live in a crime, drug riddled community to understand the chaos!
No one will ever lose their gun rights in the USA. Stop buying into the Republican fear machine. Eight years of Bush fear mongering and this is the only thing on some people's minds.
Barack Obama wants to help all military families, with full benefits and he pushed through the new GI Bill of Rights, more money for veterans schooling and better military/VAMC medical. McCain only uses the military to prop up his propaganda with fake window dressing!
Check it out, McCain has cut veterans' benefits and wants to do away with the VAMC system, privatize Social Security, and has voted against better VAMC solutions most of his life. Mcbush acts pro military/veteran to sucker the military men and women and vets into voting for him, but he has no plan to improve their tours of duty or their benefits.
I am voting for Barack Obama he is the only one along with Joe Biden to get us out of so many quagmires. This Republican is voting with the Dems and Independents!
With more than $100 million in his banking account and seven homes he can't keep track of, do you really think he cares about the middle class (that he defines as those making around $5 million)?

From what I can tell he:
1. Wants to ban use of firearms for self defense.
2. Wants federal legislation banning right to carry.
3. Ban the manufacture, sale, and possession of handguns.
4. Close down 90% of gun stores in America.
5. Ban rifle ammuntion commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
6. Increasing taxes on guns and ammuntion by 500%.
7. Restore voting rights to 5 MILLION criminals including those convicted of violent crime.
8. Expand the cosmetic ban on weapons that look scary to include millions more.
9. Mandate gov't approved license to buy firearms.
10. Appoint judges to the SC who share his views on the 2A.
All of this was from the Apex of the Triangle of Death known as the NRA. It is all easily verifiable from independent sources. Get your google-fu on and check it out yourself.
As for the AK thing, are you calling me a criminal? Just because I own two or three civilian legal AK clones this makes me a criminal? Get a grip Mr. Toth. I'm no more a criminal than you are.
Barrack *Redacted* Obama is as cozy to gun owners as a snake is to a mouse. His sham endoresement from AHSA was just that, a sham. An astro turf organization built from Jyce Foundation funds to give Marxist/Socialist/Liberal politicians a pro-gun feel. Trust me, after he's down with my "assault weapons", he's going after your "high powered sniper rifle".

Have Family in Illinois wrote on Sep 3, 2008 1:41 PM:
Illinois requires a state issued (for a fee) resident firearms identification card.
Illinois requires this card to even buy patch and ball for a flintlock.
Mail order of even black powder firearms is illegal look it up on Cabelas site for the restrictions by state.
Bordering states can purchase some things. If you are not from Illinois or one of the bordering states take hunting ammo with you. They will sell you the hunting license and then tell you you can not buy ammunition to hunt with.
Your friends or family with the id card can not purchase firearms or ammo for you or they will end up in jail.
BamBam also supports these things too and has been behind the communistic restriction of guns and related issues in Illinois yet some want to give him this nation as his playpen. "

The bottom line is this. This Marxist has stated publicly he does not believe in the 2A. Plain and simple. The list I posted above was culled from over 10 years of Barrack Messin' With Sasquatch Obama's voting record from the state house of Illinois to his 13hrs in the US Senate and everything in between.
Both the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership, the Violence Policy Center, and the Joyce Foundation, (or George Soros for short) have a seat at his table. Their idea of 'reasonable' restrictions on firearms is awhole lot different than mine.
How anyone can vote for this socialist in this state is beyond me. WY has always been a state of rugged individualism, not nanny collectivists, which is exactly what you'll get if you vote for Barrack They Call Me Bruce Obama in November. "

Simple research. That is all it would take to refute the points I have made. Yet Tipi and TR cannot or will not refute anything, but instead, want to call me names and question my freedom of choice.
I've got news for you both, I'm not brainwashed and I'm by no means a herd animal. I am CONSERVATIVE. I want to CONSERVE this great nation, not turn it in to some slobbering European wannabe because that is the flavor of the week. If that makes me bitter and want to cling to my guns and religion (though I must confess I'm not a very religious person), dang, I guess I'm busted. Caught me there skippy. Guilty.
Although I find it interesting that the folks who are accusing me of being "sheeple", embrace a collectivist mentality where there is no individuality, and to speak out in any way agianst the party line is punished. Now where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, I remember. From every immigrant from a communist country (Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, et al), that's where. Hmm, maybe they want that for all of us?

I don’t know you you’ve been talking to but most Canadians LOVE their health care. You might not have noticed this yet but health care in America is lacking to say the least. Yes my husband and I have it through his job but he works for a small company and it is very expensive. (Better then nothing!) Obama will regulate this so that everyone can afford health care. You tell Mahguns to get a job so that he may provide healthcare for his child? Lots of companies in this day and age don’t even provide health care for the employees. Or maybe they do but the hourly pay would be way less and then how is he going to feed/clothe/put a roof over little jonny’s head? This is something you Rethugs never seem to think of! "

And yes Mahguns needs to quit crying and get a job and pay his own way. If you want to pay for lil johnny he couldn't afford to have, so be it, but don't ask me to pay for lil johhny. You Democrats think everything needs to be handed to you on a silver plattter. Yes, go ahead and procreate. Have some more babies you can't afford. Someone will step up and pay for it. Just not me if I have my say in it. lil johnny can die for all I care. Not my problem. "

It’s a myth that ALL Canadians come here for their health care. Some might for their own reasons. Everyone I have talked to seem to love it. Universal Health Care is about the only shot this country has. I am all for it!
Where in Mahgun’s statement did he say he wasn’t paying his own way? I know plenty of people who work their butts off 50-60 hours a week who’s employers do not have health coverage. Some of them have NO health coverage and some of them buy it privately even though it is EXTREAMLY expensive. They are barely making ends meet on their own. They won’t ask for help and that’s ok because they probably “make too much” to receive any.
And really Joe what is with the emphasis on his name? He was named after his father. Big Deal! Did you get to name yourself? I am sure he didn’t pop outta mommies belly and say “Guess what Ma! I’m gonna be president someday and I think it would be SUPER FUN if you gave me a name that republican’s can use to instill fear in the hearts of the people!” "
