Recently, 19 square miles of ice has been broken off of Ellesmere Island in Canada. In the past the Seron and Ward Hunt Ice Shelves have been drastically melted and broken as well.
This would not be a problem normally because thick sea ice would grow back. However, due to the effects of global warming, the ice refuses to re-grow. Rare ecosystems are being lost due to this effect and may very well become extinct. There needs to be more drastic measures taken to address global warming.
We should be raising awareness on an international level. And this country will be going into a drastic melt of its own if something more is not done.
Awareness needs to be on high alert for global warming and environmental preservation. If not, the consequences could be disastrous. This planet is the only one we have and we should be taking better care of it.

Now that the Earth is entering a completely normal cooling period, as it exits an also normal warming period, these eco-fundamentalist, global warming cultists will have to alter their religious edicts to match the weather.
I'm wondering if Brittney walks the walk, leaving her car home on Friday nights, instead of spewing CO2 into the atmosphere while cruising 2nd? I don't really need to ask that question, after seeing video of Al Gore flying all over the globe in his Gulfstream II.

Two hundred years of glacial shrinkage in Alaska, and then came the winter and summer of 2007-2008.
Unusually large amounts of winter snow were followed by unusually chill temperatures in June, July and August.
"In mid-June, I was surprised to see snow still at sea level in Prince William Sound," said U.S. Geological Survey glaciologist Bruce Molnia. "On the Juneau Icefield, there was still 20 feet of new snow on the surface of the Taku Glacier in late July. At Bering Glacier, a landslide I am studying, located at about 1,500 feet elevation, did not become snow free until early August.

The only reason the global warming issue is pushed is so Alphonse Gore can scam some more money out of carbon credits (similar to the acts of another Alphonse). Yes carbon credits for the environmentalist want to be to buy so they feel better about not cutting back on their actual carbon consumption and footprint.
The only thing you accomplished is saying the same thing in two posts that steer said in one simple line, exactly nothing productive. "
