Trout fishing is fair to good at Lake Hattie using Power Bait, salmon eggs and night crawlers. Fly anglers are catching fish on black or olive wooly buggers, scuds, hothead leeches, pheasant tails and prince nymphs. With the low water and wet weather, driving near the shoreline is not recommended - lots of vehicles getting stuck lately.
The Upper North Platte and Big Laramie rivers are starting to run high from spring runoff. Fishing is slow.

Anglers at Flaming Gorge Reservoir caught a lot of everything at a fishing derby last weekend. Fishing is good using lures tipped with a worm or meal worm for rainbow and brown trout. Kokanee fishing is also good using a squid and dodger or a Needlefish tipped with a meal worm. Anglers trolling at 40 to 50 feet are catching some lake trout over 30 pounds, and the bass anglers are doing well too.

Trout fishing is good using spinners, crawler harnesses and spoons in the upper 10 feet of the deeper water.
