DOUGLAS - JJ's General Store in Glenrock had nearly everything a small town could want: fuel, food, milk, sandwiches, cigarettes, fountain drinks, and a place for kids to buy candy.
But in late July, it closed its doors a week before the 2,200-population town's busy and rambunctious Deer Creek Days.
Todd Huff of Casper bought the now defunct store in 2007, and later received financial help of his cousin, former Casper resident Rick Koerber. In December 2000, Koerber and the securities division of the Wyoming Secretary of State agreed that he and his company National Business Solutions had violated state securities laws.
The sellers of JJ's have sued Huff for defaulting on the terms of the sale.
On Tuesday, Converse County District Judge John Brooks ordered Huff's assets related to the sale be frozen.
