CHEYENNE - A 20-year-old Wyoming man is missing in Glendo State Park in Platte County after high winds capsized the canoe he was in Sunday night, according to the Platte County Sheriff's Office.
About 30 searchers are combing the Muddy Bay area of Glendo Reservoir for the man, whose name has not been released, said sheriff's office spokeswoman Jane Carlson.
A second man in the canoe was able to swim to shore and called for help when he could not find his companion. Searchers found a life preserver and paddles from the canoe floating in the water today, Carlson said.
