A Casper man died in a plane crash near Mesa, Ariz. on Friday, a spokesman for the man's employer said today.
Sam Pudney was one of two men who were killed when the Extra 300L aircraft they were flying in crashed eight miles east of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, according to statement released by Pudney's employer, Casper-based M&N Aviation. Pudney worked as a corporate pilot for the company.
The statement did not identify the other person involved in the crash.
