CHEYENNE - A top administrator says the University of Wyoming plans no increase in tuition for undergraduate Wyoming residents.

Vice President for Administration Phil Harris presented an overview of tuition and fees for the 2009-2010 school year at a Laramie meeting of the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees on Friday.

In-state undergraduates taking 30 credit hours per semester now pay $3,621 per academic year.

Harris says the university is looking at increases of up to 5 percent in tuition for graduate, professional and nonresident students.

Trustees have the final say on the matter and are expected to vote on 2009-2010 tuition at either their January or March meetings.
