After a month-long hiatus, the Natrona County school board meets tonight at the district's Central Services Office.
On the board's agenda are a number of gifts and grants, including $21,221 from the Natrona County Joint Powers Recreation Board for the FIRST Lego Robotics Competition project.
The Department of Health and Human Services is also awarding a $100,000 grant to the district for the continuation of the Drug Free Community Support Program. The grant comes from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
The school district is partnered with the Natrona County Prevention Coalition for the grant.
Board members will consider a recommendation to use up to $12,000 of Board Priority Excess Debt Service Funds to pay for concrete paving for Natrona County High School's track storage building.
The high school's Millennium Committee is expected to fund one-half of the cost of the project.
Board members will also consider a recommendation to award a $66,483 bid to Northwestern Electric to update and replace lighting at North Casper Elementary and Dean Morgan Junior High School.
Funding for the project is being provided by the Wyoming School Facilities Commission.
The board's regular meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the district's Central Services Office, located at 970 N. Glenn Road.
