Townsend art to come down

*The NIC will host a Coming Down Party for the panels in the Townsend Hotel today from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the parking lot on the north side of the Townsend in preparation for the "Wild Wooly Window Wingding" on Sept. 30. The Coming Down Party is a free Ice Cream Social for everyone. Info: 235-5247.

Neighborhood goes bananas

Planetarium celebrates anniversary

*The Casper Planetarium, 904 N. Poplar, celebrates its 40th anniversary this week. Today, a laser light show to the music of the Beatles will be presented at 7 p.m., with $8 admission. At 8 p.m., a laser light show to the music of Pink Floyd will also have an admission of $8. Info: 577-0310.
