NC '58 begins reunion

CC welcomes Cottam with open house

The Casper College Goodstein Foundation Library will be the site for an open house to welcome Keith Cottam as interim director of the library from 3 to 5 p.m.

The open house is free and open to the public and will include tours of the library, refreshments and more.

"We not only want community members to come and meet Keith, but we also want them to come see what the Goodstein Foundation Library has to offer," said Lois Davis, dean of educational resources at Casper College.

Historic Bishop Home hosts wine and cheese

The Historic Bishop Home, 818 E. 2nd St., hosts Wine and Cheese Tasting, featuring wine from Poplar Wine and Spirits and the Rocky Mountain Region and hors d'oeuvres from Market and More, music provided by T-Bone and Ivory; local artist Phillip Smith will be on hand to show his pottery, 5-7 p.m., $30.

All prices include a $10 tax-deductible donation to the Cadoma Foundation, owner of the property.

Eagles host free dance

Summer fling dance at the Eagles Hall, 306 N Durbin, from 7 to 11 p.m., features the Robbie Daniels Band. This dance is the next to the last dance at the Eagles for adult entertainment. There will be one more dance on Aug. 22, 2008. These dances have been put on by local musicians with admission free.

The musicians' support comes from the generous donations of the audience. If you would like to see more of these types of dances, please let us know. It is very difficult to provide a live dance band on a voluntary basis. Your support is appreciated. The charity of the month at the Fraternal Order of Eagles is the Handicapped Childrens Fund. Help with largest baby shower

The Casper Chapter of Newborns in Need, Inc. which serves premature and newborn babies that are in need or crisis by providing essential items, is participating in The Largest Baby Shower on the Planet during the month of August. We are partnering with the national NIN, attempting to establish a Guinness World Record for helping babies.

We are in need of and requesting donations of: diapers (preemie, newborn, size 1), sleepers, gowns, and onesies (preemie or 0-3 months), baby wash, lotion, diaper rash ointment, diaper wipes, pacifiers, BPA free bottles, powdered Enfamil w/Lipil formula and Wal-Mart, Target or Hancock Fabric gift cards.

Kids' theatre presents classic

The Casper Childrens Theatre is excited to present James and the Giant Peach. The Not Ready For Bedtime Players, which consists of actors ages 8-11 will perform this beloved classic today and August 2 at 7 p.m. and August 3 at 2 p.m. All performances are at the Casper Childrens Theatre on the 2nd floor of the Commissary Mall. Baseball team needs donations

The Casper Hurricanes and Casper Storm are having a garage sale this Saturday and need donations. Items can be taken any evening this week between 5 and 7 p.m., behind the third-base dugout at the Crossroads No. 4 baseball field off N. Poplar St.

If you need someone to pick up the donations, call Cynthia at 259-2353. If you have large or heavy items, please let us know so we can arrange for a truck and some muscle.

The Garage Sale will be at Crossroads No. 4 ball field on Saturday, beginning at 6:30 a.m., and going until mid-afternoon.

Apply for back to school help

The Salvation Army is accepting applications for back to school help at the Salvation Army Hope Center, 441 S. Center. Applicants need to provide identification for each child registering, as well as proof of income and residency.

Applications may be filled out between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m., and 1 to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will be accepted through Aug. 7.

The back to school party is set for Aug. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Salvation Army Church, 625 S. Jefferson.

Fiddle festival needs musicians

The 18th Annual Rocky Mountain Regional Fiddle Championships & Music Festival is seeking musicians from all areas of the state and region to participate in a fun-filled event Aug. 15-17 at the Casper Best Western Ramkota Hotel.

The event includes a Friday night jam session, Saturday competition and Sunday morning workshops. National fiddle champions, Tobi Magruder, Great Falls, Mont., and Katie Glassman, Denver, will present fiddle workshops. Fee: $25. Workshops for additional instruments may be offered.

Musicians of all ages and levels of experience will vie for approximately $3,000 in cash and trophies. Categories include seven fiddle age groups; championship fiddle; youth and adult novice fiddle, guitar and variety instrument; and male and female vocal.

To avoid a late fee, register by Aug. 9.

Senior poker tourney

Late night movie for teens

Students in grades 8 through 12 are invited to attend Late Night outside the Casper Family Aquatic Center on Friday, Aug. 15, from 8-11 p.m. Admission, pop, and popcorn are FREE. The movie to be shown is Semi-Pro, starring Will Ferrell. The movie will be projected on the east side of the Aquatic Center sun deck. Please use the sun deck entrance and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Pops in the Park Aug. 16

The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and the Casper Ghosts want to take you out to the ballgame this summer on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, for our Pops in the Park concert.

Pops in the Park will be held August 16, 2008 and will bring together two very different Casper organizations for an evening of summer family fun. The WSO will play an outdoor Pops concert beginning at 5 p.m. and afterwards, stay and enjoy the Casper Ghosts as they take on the Billings Mustangs. Pops in the Park is sure to be one of Caspers favorite musical events as new WSO Conductor, Matthew Savery, leads the orchestra in a variety of movie and classical selections.

World renowned trumpet player, Joe Burgstaller, principal with the Canadian Brass, is our very special guest artist.

See a great concert and a great ballgame in one great night for the price of one ticket!

Pool luau for back-to-school

There is one last splash for students who will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades this fall from 7-9 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 15, at East Casper Pool, 3400 E. 12th St. Join us at East Casper Pool (3400 E. 12th St.) for music and games in this middle school-only swim. Participants must wear swimsuits to be in the water. Cost is $3 per swimmer and includes refreshments and snacks.

Summer at the Y

Are you between the ages of 13 and 18 and need something to do this summer? Join the Casper Family YMCAs Teen Summer Program! Meet new people and enjoy a fun-filled summer. Participants will take field trips to the lake and mountain, watch movies, swim, learn to make candles and soap and many other fun and exciting activities. The cost is only $30 per week. Summer lecture series

Fort Caspar Museum is pleased to announce a six-week summer lecture series on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. through August 13. Lectures are free of charge and will take place in the Multi-Use Room at Fort Caspar Museum. Each lecture will focus on a different impression on Wyoming from past to present and from east to west. These impressions could be people, places, or events. We may be able to experience these impressions today or they may be memories from times past.

These programs are funded by a grant from the Wyoming Humanities Council.

Sign up for after school

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is accepting registrations for the upcoming school year. Along with the main club location on "K" Street, we will have school sites at Paradise Valley, Mills, Verda James and Evansville. Cost for the after school program will be a $10 membership and there will be a monthly after school program fee of $100 for all sites based on a sliding fee scale.There are daily options and weekly options as well. Daily is for 2 days or less per week for $5 a day. Weekly rates are for 3 or more days at a rate of $25 per week. All fees are based on income with a sliding fee scale. Use those Legos

Toy Town is holding its 21st annual Lego contest, August 11-15 with judging Aug. 16.

Contestants need to construct a model from LEGOS (only) at home and bring it to Toy Town, 147 S. Center St., downtown Casper. Models will be taken during regular business hours, 10-5:30, Monday-Friday. Models should not exceed 3 feet by 3 feet at the base.

The age groups are 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12, and 13- and older. First, second and third prizes will be given out for each age group. An overall Best of Show will be given out.

There are certificates and goodies for each entrant.

Entries are judged on creativity, stability, color, unique use of bricks and more.

Space for kids at BGCCW

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming has some openings for its fun-filled and educational programs this summer at its Summer Safari Day Camps. Day camp is held at both the Paradise Valley and Evansville branches. The day camps are open to children between the ages of 6 and 12. Activities include swimming, skating, bowling, science, character development, sports and more. Day camp hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $10 membership fee to BGCCW plus $55 per week. Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch are provided at no extra cost. Registration is required.

The Greater Casper branch at 1701 K Street is open this summer to all children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18 and drop-ins are welcome. Summer hours for the Greater Casper Branch are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $10 membership fee to the Club plus $25 per week. Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch are provided at no extra cost. Registration forms must be completed.

Hours for the teen program (between the ages of 13 and 18) are noon to 8 p.m. Cost for the teen program is $10 for the membership fee. No registration is required.

To register your child, stop by the Greater Casper Branch between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Club is closed on the weekends. For more information, call 235-5694.

Free childhood immunizations

Free routine childhood immunizations for ages 2 months through 18 years will be given at the Casper-Natrona County Health Department from Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please call if you have any questions related to who is considered a legal guardian. Bring the childs current, complete shot record. No appointment is necessary, walk-ins are welcomed. The clinic is located at 475 South Spruce and clinic information is available by calling 235-9340.

Camp for asthma kids

Camp Huff 'n Puff for kids with asthma age 5 to 13 years old will be held at the Casper Boys and Girls Club on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 16-17. There is no cost and it is not a sleepover camp. Activities include T-shirts and tie-dying, asthma education, fly casting and fly tying, and special visits from the Casper College Lady T-Bird volleyball team and the WMC ambulance team.

Caregiver support

Are you a caregiver for someone with a disability, illness or disorder? Would you like to connect with other caregivers in a supportive, understanding and informative environment? The Center for Abilities is sponsoring a family caregiver support group to allow caregivers to share experiences and knowledge and to bond with others.

The group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., at 111 W. 2nd St., Ste. 601. If you have questions or would like more information, call Amber at 265-9565.

The Center for Abilities is a public, nonprofit agency providing services to people with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, mental illnesses and other disabilities, and their families.

Apply for United Way money

The United Way of Natrona County is accepting Special Response Grant applications until Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008. Meetings with the United Way of Natrona County Admissions & Allocations Committee will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

Typically, Special Response Grants will fall within three distinct categories:

*Seed Money Grants. These grants would be made to provide short-term support for the start-up, development, implementation, or stabilization of existing or new and untested programs and, in some cases, new agencies.

*System-Building Grants. These grants would be made to enhance the capability of existing member agencies and non-member agencies, and service delivering systems. In this regard, they could involve the support of collaborative efforts among different agencies to develop new programs that are responsive to community needs.

*Emergency Grants. These grants would be to provide funding for one-time emergency needs not anticipated and are outside of the regular budget.

Support group luncheon

Caf Cares is now meeting at noon the second Tuesday of each month in the Pub Room at Primrose, 1865 S. Beverly. Bereavement group in Glenrock

North Platte Home Health and Hospice will hold Bereavement Support Group meetings to provide support, discussion and conversation for those who have lost a loved one.

Meetings are held every third Friday of the month at Glenrock Senior Center, 615 West Deer in Glenrock. Led by Chaplain Gayle Unruh, the meetings are held from noon-1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided. The public is invited to attend these free events.

Clinic helps

The Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Clinic provides health care to people living in homelessness in the Casper metro area. What many people don't know is that the HCH Clinic also serves people who are "doubled up," temporarily staying with friends or extended family members. Visit the clinic on 12th Street's Life Steps Campus (Building E) to register and schedule an appointment. Call 235-6116 for clinic hours.

Soup kitchen reopens

After a brief hiatus, the Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen Christ First Missionary Baptist Church, 900 N. Grant, hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We would like to help the high rate of people in Natrona County who need a hot meal. We are still in need of volunteers, cooks, cooks' helpers, servers, etc.

With all the garage sales this summer, please remember the Elf Shoppe when you sort and shop. It will be Dec. 14 this year and we are already getting gifts together. Some thoughts are gifts you have received and will never use, gifts for dad, sun visors, CD holders, etc. Please help us get started on the Elf Shoppe early and we need volunteers for everything. Braille trail opens

Due to the early June flood, the Lee McCune Braille Trail was heavily damaged. Thanks to the Natrona County Road and Bridge Department and members of the Casper Mountain Lions Club, after five hard weeks of work, the trail is now open. Thanks to all who put the time into the restoration.

Host a foreign exchange student

I am currently seeking famlies to open their hearts and their homes to foreign exchange students in the Casper area. Host families provide room, board and a caring environment in exchange for lifelong international friendship, an enriching experience for their family and plenty of opportunities for fun.

Help for newborns

Newborns in Need (NIN) is a non-profit charity that specializes in the needs of premature and newborn babies that are sick or in crises by providing essential items to hospitals, homeless shelters, crises centers, and county health units, etc. NIN schedules work day meetings the second Saturday of each month, August 9, and September 13, from 9 a.m. until noon. Veterans seek volunteers

The Natrona County United Veterans Council needs volunteers to help when "The Wall That Heals," the traveling Vietnam Memorial, arrives in Casper in September. About 70 volunteers are still needed to assist the public for the four days it will be here, September 11-14. Also needed are financial sponsors to off-set the $10,000 it costs to bring in the memorial. Any and all contributions are welcome. Salvation Army needs help

The Salvation Army will provide backpacks filled with school supplies for families in need.

Backpacks are purchased with money donated, but school supplies to fill them are needed as well and include pens and pencils, Kleenex, pocket folders, 3-ring binders, spiral notebooks, wide and college rule paper, supply boxes, erasers, scissors, rulers, dry erase markers, glue/glue sticks, colored pencils and regular markers.

Hold off on book donations

The Friends of the Natrona County Public Library, 307 East 2nd Street, request that all public donations of books, magazines, etc., be withheld during the first half of August, 2008. Book sale organizers will be on summer break and cannot accept donations until after Aug. 15, 2008. They appreciate the community's cooperation and continued support.

Reach to Recovery needs help

The American Cancer Societys Reach to Recovery Program has volunteers who conduct breast cancer patient visits. The Reach to Recovery program provides information and support to anyone facing breast cancer through one-on-one contact with the volunteers. Talking with a volunteer can help those facing breast cancer find the strength and resources to cope. We are currently looking for someone to help coordinate this program. The coordinator does not have to be a breast cancer survivor.

Other programs provided are Man to Man (for prostate cancer survivors), Look GoodFeel Better, (to help people deal with the affects of chemo and radiation on skin and hair), and I Can Cope (an on-line support group for cancer patients).

We are located at 907 N. Poplar, in the Cottonwood Park Building, Ste. 185. We have wigs, scarves, hats, prostheses, bras, informational brochures and other items to assist cancer patients.

Garage sale donations needed

NAMI-Casper (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will be holding its annual garage sale at 133 W. 6th St., on Sat., Aug. 2, from 7:30-2 p.m. The funds from the sale will be used for general operating expenses to maintain our presence in the community as a force to help educate and remove stigma in regard to mental illness. The City of Casper Recreation Division is hosting women's and men's volleyball and coed softball leagues this fall.

Teams interested in registering a team for softball may register through Thursday, Aug. 7. Those interested in men's and women's fall volleyball may register through Thursday, Aug. 14. Registration will be accepted at the Casper Rec Center, 1801 E. 4th St., Casper, 82601.

Silent peace vigil

All individuals are invited to participate in a peace vigil called Women in Black. Women in Black is an international movement for peace in our homes, community and the world.

Girl Scout alums plan overnighter

Rekindle, Reconnect is the theme of the Girl Scout Alumni Overnighter at Camp Sacajawea on Casper Mountain on Sept. 27-28. Regardless of what council you grew up in, Girl Scout alumni are invited to make new friends, but keep the old, while enjoying singing, campfire, twilight hike, stargazing and smores. Participants are welcome to bring their sleeping bags and sleep in the lodge or just spend a few hours at camp.

Group plans SLC trip

All Daughters of the Nile are invited to join Queen Mary Montee of Tamah Temple No. 73, Rawlins; and Queen Karen Duggan of Sahida Temple No. 86, Sheridan; on a bus trip to Lybia Temple No. 32 and the Salt Lake City Intermountain Shrine Hospital for Children. The bus will pick up passengers at each location.

It departs from Gillette, Wednesday, Aug. 27, proceeding to Sheridan, continuing to Casper and arriving in Rawlins in time to attend Supreme Queen Muriel V. Knapps visit to Tamah at 2 p.m. A Ceremonial will be conducted and followed with a banquet.

On Thursday the 28th, the bus will depart Rawlins and proceed to Salt Lake City in time for Lybias Ceremonial and visit of the Supreme Queen at 2 p.m. The group will visit the Shrine Hospital the next day, the 29th. A bus trip for the afternoon will be to Wendover for some gaming fun.

The $300 per person fee includes two nights lodging in Salt Lake City at the Ramada Inn, all meals and transportation. The deadline for reservations is August 6.

German exchange student needs home

A 16-year-old German exchange student, who arrives to Casper on Saturday, needs a host family and home!

She currently is in Boston at Culture Camp, and has signed up for classes at Natrona County High School. Her major interests include gymnastics, snowboarding, skiing, playing the piano, drama and theater. She also is interested in cooking, drawing, track, softball, swimming, music and volunteering.

She describes herself as open-minded, humorous, outdoorsy, active, organized, quiet, independent, talkative, outgoing, family-oriented, straightforward and she loves children.Her favorite subjects in school are math, art and music. She is a vegetarian and allergic to animal hair.

During this time, students will have photos taken for their ID cards ($2); order yearbooks ($60); purchase parking registration ($5); pay fines (individual amounts indicated in back-to-school letters sent to students); check out sports uniforms and equipment; check out laptops (with signed use agreement form following completion of the online training as indicated in back-to-school letters); review demographic information for parent contacts; sit for individual photos, etc. Seniors also will be measured for caps and gowns ($25), and sophomores will be given a health update.

CY welcomes new students

CY Junior High will host WEB (Where Everybody Belongs), an orientation and transition program, for incoming sixth- and seventh-graders on Friday, Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Members of the eighth- and ninth-grade classes will be trained as WEB leaders, and they will serve as role models, mentors and teachers for the students in their groups. They will work with their groups of incoming students throughout the year to help them be successful in middle school.

"By providing the new students with an exciting orientation and a group of students with whom they can form relationships, we hope that they will feel like valued members of the CY community," wrote CY Spanish teacher Katherine Maguire, one of the WEB coordinators.

Following the initial orientation, WEB leaders will continue to work with their groups during academic and social follow-ups throughout the year.

The orientation is only open to students, but families are invited to join their children for a post-orientation lunch at 11:45 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Centennial announces important dates

Monday, Aug. 4: 6th/7th graders and all new students to Centennial and their families are invited to attend our S.O.A.R.( Student Orientation and Roundup) program from 10 a.m. to noon in our main gym. Students will pick up schedules, meet the principals and other staff members, meet student mentors, and tour the building.

Tuesday, Aug: 5 and Wednesday, Aug. 6: all 8th/9th graders are welcome to pick up their schedules and locker assignments and tour the building between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The staff at Centennial are looking forward to seeing all new and returning students as we prepare for the new school year!

The NCHS class of 1978 will have its 30-year reunion August 8-10 in Casper. Join your classmates for one or all the planned events. On Friday there will be golfing at 11 am, that evening is a mixer for drinks and appetizers starting at 6 pm. Saturday events include a tour of NCHS and later cocktails, dinner, dancing and awards beginning at 6 p.m. Then well meet again on Sunday for a family BBQ at 11 a.m.

Raffle for postal worker

Casper United States Postal Service worker and veteran Wayne Porterfield underwent knee replacement surgery in January at the VA Hospital in Denver. Numerous complications and follow-up surgery has kept him out of work since then, with an anticipated return date now of November.

He had saved 700 hours of sick leave before the surgery, which is now depleted and he is using his annual leave.

Friends of his are sponsoring a raffle with prizes donated by generous merchants, including a night in a Casper hotel suite; unique metal art sculpture and a variety of gift certificates.

Ride with the Winds Aug. 2-3

The 7th annual Ride with the Winds catered bike is August 2-3 and starts and ends in Riverton, offering 50, 75 or century-mile options each day. The tour is totally catered with meals, rest stops, mechanical support, medical support, massage therapy and SAG support, as well as indoor/outdoor camping options.

The event benefits Wyoming CARES, a statewide charitable agency that provides assistance to Wyoming residents in need.

Hospice needs quilts for fundraiser

Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions is busy planning the Fourth Annual Family Fun Fest, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Industrial Building.

Caspers Largest Indoor Picnic features fun and games for all ages, and scores of prizes.

Donations of new quilts and picnic blankets are now being accepted. Each year, dozens of quilts and blankets are raffled at the event.

Buffalo shoot helps scholarships

Tickets for a Buffalo Shoot Raffle to fund memorial scholarships for Wyoming men killed in Afghanistan or Iraq is being conducted by veterans organizations. The project has funded scholarships at each Wyoming college for the past four years. The scholarships are by lottery. Applicants must be full time students at Wyoming schools. The lottery keeps the names of Wyoming heroes alive. This is a scholarship for any student attending any of the eight Wyoming schools of higher learning. The drawing is Sept. 2, 2008.

Seven of the 20 scholarships have been funded. $5,000 per man is the goal for each scholarship. The Raffle provides for a buffalo shoot and $300 for processing the meat to the winner of the raffle. Artist in residence

The Artists in Residence program at the Nicolaysen Art Museum will include the following workshops:

*Precious Metal Clay Jewelry, set for Aug. 7-9, will be presented by Lenore Poitras. The participants, which are limited to 15 adults, will learn to create one-of-a-kind jewelry using Precious Metal Clay a finely powdered silver in an organic binder with water that can be worked like clay (rolled, stamped, textured). When it is fired it become a solid piece of .999 pure silver. The cost of the workshop is $120 for members or $130 for non-members.

*Finally, Casper folk artist Jim Kopp will present You Can quote me on Aug. 12-13. Children and adults will have a chance to use their own collaging materials to create their own personal interpretation of a famous work of art. The workshop for children ages 8-12 will be Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon and costs $20. The adult workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 13 and costs $35.

Historical tours of Casper

Painted Past Productions will resume the downtown Casper the Friendly Ghost's tour on Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. This tour takes you down the alleys of downtown Casper with stories of the unnatural, picture opportunities, and fun for any age. Bring cameras and wear comfortable shoes.

The 1890's tour and the Sand Bar tour will take place on request of six people or more on any night of the week. Hear tales of the 1890's of who lived in Casper. Six professional actors will portray prominent citizens.

The Sand Bar tour is an education of Casper in the 1920's during prohibition.

Tours require reservations and are candlelight walking tours of about six blocks, with the 1890's and the Sand Bar tours starting at 8 p.m., and the Friendly Ghost tour starting at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday Farmers' Markets begin

Natrona County Master Gardeners Farmers' Markets begins this Saturday and run through Sept. 27, from 7:30 a.m. to noon at the Agricultural Resource Learning Center, 2011 Fairgrounds Rd.

Local and regional produce vendors, as well as meats, plants, bakery items, honey, Greek olive oil, all are expected this week.

Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. New vendors will be added weekly.

Red Cross begins youth leadership

Looking for ways to assist the elderly to be prepared for emergencies? The Natrona County brand of the American Red Cross is currently seeking youth ages 12 to 18 to participate in a Youth Leadership program that will train youth to work with senior citizens in Natrona and Converse counties.

The youth will assist senior citizens to effectively prepare for disasters that might occur in their home or while driving in their vehicles. The youth will also train the senior citizens in how to create a disaster preparedness kit for their pets.

Celebrate girls

Are you a girl about to enter grades six, seven or eight?

Do you ever look in the mirror and wish you had different clothes?

Do you ever wish you were taller or shorter?

Are you in between sports seasons? Do you have some free time this summer?

"Celebrate Girls" is a five-day, two-hour-a-day girls club for girls entering grades six, seven, or eight. During the course of the two hours, you will get some physical exercise, learn about healthy snacks and healthy meals, what to wear to school and out to the mall, how to feel more confident and more.

The class is taught by a certified classroom teacher.
