Bradford Brinton Museum

* Through Sept. 7, the Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum will reopen for the 2009 season. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free admission on Sundays from 12-4 p.m. Featured exhibit in the Helen Brinton Gallery is "Special Treasures of the Brinton." Martha Gibbs' "As the Spirit Moves Me" exhibit in the Patio Room Gallery through June 25.

Trolley Tours

* The Cheyenne Street Trolley's 2009 season is offered 7 days a week until late September. Tours take place on weekdays at 10, 11:30 a.m., 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. On weekends, the trolley will offer 2 hour tours at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 p.m. Sundays. Trolley tickets cost $10 adults and $5 children ages 2-12. Get tickets at the Visitor Center in the Depot at 15th and Capitol Ave. Info: (307) 778-3133.

Uinta County Museum

* Through Feb. 28, 2010, the Uinta County Museum's railroad exhibit, "On the Road and in the Shops: Railroad Workers in Evanston" is on display. Coming Up

Cheyenne Depot

* July 4, activities begin at 9 a.m. with a Calling All Harleys! Motorcycle Show. The $10 registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Seven categories of motorcycles and a People's Choice Category. Children's parade at 10 a.m. going from 15th and O'Neil Ave. to the Depot Plaza. Children 12n and under are invited to dress up for a "Most Patriotic Costume" contest with prizes. 4th of July

* July 4, Dubois has added some fun items to this small town, western flavored, family-oriented 4th of July Parade. A big horn sheep driving the float for Bighorn Sheep Center, forest service folks riding horses and pack mules, Smokey the Bear will be there, draft horse teams pulling hay wagons and more. * July 4, celebrate Independence Day at Big Red with the Ucross Foundation's 28th annual fireworks extravaganza. Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks at dusk. Games for kids of all ages. Moonwalk

* July 6, Aug. 5, Sept. 4, 7:30 p.m., the popular Moonwalk moonlight hikes will resume with the Navigation Moon at Curt Gowdy State Park. The Navigation Moonwalk celebrates the delightful and sometimes life-saving ability to find one's way without roads or street signs. Explore traditional navigation, animals' navigation mechanisms, and fun technology and trends. Hike will be on moderate terrain, up to 1.5 miles and may involve off-trail walking. Park is 24 miles west of Laramie and 26 miles east of Cheyenne. Wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for inclement weather, bring insect repellent and water. Sinks Canyon Speakers

* July 7, 7 p.m., the meaning of the howl of the wolf and other wolf behavior will be the focus of a talk at the Sinks Canyon Speakers Series at the Sinks Canyon State Park visitor center. Ken Mills will give an illustrated talk on the ecology and habitat of the wolf, focusing on the life and behavior of the animals. Program is free and open to the public. Auction & Fashion Show

* July 11, 6 p.m., the Opportunity Shop, a nonprofit thrift store in Dubois, will host the annual Silent Auction and Fashion Show at the Headwaters Conference Center in Dubois. The proceeds will be used to fund a building expansion for the Opportunity Shop. Free light refreshments and a wine tasting. No admission charge, all ages welcome.

Gold Rush Days

* July 11-12, 9 a.m., experience South Pass City State Historic Site as the residents did during the boom years during Gold Rush Days 2009. Family fun weekend features a variety of events and activities each day such as vintage baseball tournament, food and refreshments, comedy shoot-out at high noon, and mining demonstrations. Historic Ivinson Mansion

* The Historic Ivinson Mansion at 603 Ivinson Ave. in Laramie are having tours. Summer Tours are Tuesday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Winter hours begin in September and go through May; they are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Rates are $7 for adults, $6.50 for seniors, $4 for students, $20 for families, $6 for AAA members, and children 6 and under are free. Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Park

Panic Relief Inc.

* A panic and anxiety group is now forming in Newcastle, featuring programs every Monday from noon-1 p.m. and every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The program is geared to help anyone suffering from panic, anxiety, and agoraphobia to cope with these disorders. Info: (732) 940-9658.

Parent-education seminars

* The Wyoming Children�s Access Network provides parent-education seminars for divorcing, separated and never-married parents. The seminar is provided monthly in Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette, Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Sheridan, Torrington, and now Afton, Pinedale and Worland on a quarterly basis, and provides information about the impact of parental conflict on children and teaches the parents skills to help with the difficult transition. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other adults close to the children are welcome to attend as well.There is a nominal fee for the seminar that may be waived upon request, based on need.
