DENVER - Kristin Karbs and Mark Whitney were married May 25, 2008, in Denver on the University of Denver campus.

The bride is the daughter or Mike Karbs of Casper and Jackie Uecker of St. Cloud, Minn.

The groom is the son of Gene and Sue Whitney of Lakewood, Colo.

The bride graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1999, the University of Northern Colorado in 2003, and from the University of Colorado with a master's degree in 2006.

The groom graduated from Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colo., in 1999, and from the University of Northern Colorado in 2003.

The bride is a child and family therapist and the groom will be working towards a master's degree in the fall at Denver Seminary.

The couple will reside in Denver.
