Metro Animal Control and Welfare would like thank everyone who attended the annual Dog Days of Summer Adopt-A-Thon.

It was a great success with 23 animals getting adopted and more than 100 people visiting the shelter.

I would personally like to thank the radio stations of KTED and the VIBE for their gracious donations of door prizes. Thank you also to the staff and volunteers at Metro who helped make this years Adopt-A-Thon a rousing success.
