Vice President Joe Biden admitted this week that the Barack Obama administration "misread" the depth of the economic troubles our nation is facing. Perhaps the administration misread the effectiveness of a pork- and entitlement-filled stimulus plan. I wonder if the administration has also misread the cost of increased government involvement in health care. I wonder if they have misread the impact of cap and trade policy on American manufacturing jobs.

Perhaps the problem is not failure to understand the current state, but instead the implementation of flawed policy that is leading to further economic deterioration and loss of American jobs.
