The Downtown Casper Community Farmers Market (DCCFM) is blessed with wonderful volunteers without whom the DCCFM would not be realizing a dream come true - Casper's official downtown open-air market! So, thank you to all volunteers who helped organize the next ten Tuesdays!

To the Downtown Development Authority for their willingness to weigh the risks and benefits of a downtown market and sponsor us this year; to Pat Nagel for carrying the torch and never giving up on a downtown community market; to market president Nick Azar for having a heart for revitalizing downtown; to vice president Tony Williams for his advice, ideas for kids' activities and for the parade candy corn; to treasurer Brett Governanti who single handedly created our Web site (cpr.downtownfarmersmarket.com) and market guidelines; to Thea True for executing the logo contest, securing a grant for Chef of the Market and preparing vendor packets; to Anita and Dave Creager for their wealth of knowledge about all things "market" and for the $250 of Oregon Trail steaks raffled at NIC Fest; to Eli for a beautiful basket of Herbadashery foods raffled at NIC Fest; to Kathy Nickodemus for her canvas bag inspiration; to NOWCAP for partnering to sew and sell market bags; to Rory Pittman for his

1958 red pickup truck for Parade Day; to Jeanne Hopkins and granddaughter Tiffany for hard work behind the scenes, and to Bank of the West for the use of their facility for the very first market workshop, out of which the DCCFM spun into being!

There are others, and please know we appreciate everyone who has contributed in ways large and small. You are appreciated and we thank you! To the public watching the progress of this market from the sidelines, thanks to those of you who cheered us on! To those of you less excited spectators, please give us a chance and remember this is "a market in process" so cut us some slack and come check us out - more than just once, too, because each and every Tuesday will bring something new, fresh and fun! See you at the market, neighbor!

This letter is endorsed by DCCFM committee members.

TINA WULF, Casper
