Things change to stay the same

We are getting a change from this president to another one, but the next one still has the same old House, the same old plans, big ones, the same old speaker of the House who has to have a bigger plane so it doesn't have to stop for fuel. Also, it can carry about 100 people, which is a lot more than it did before, and it cost a lot more. Who do you think has to pay for all this?

Well, you guessed it, us. I would like to have some of the money they spend. Oh, I'm not only talking about the Dems but also the Republicans. OK, so don't get me wrong ' this is just a few things we can look forward to.

We still don't get a big raise like they do. Then there's another thing, they only work about 109 days a year. What a change. They can't give us a good raise like they get; they can't even vote on a lock box on our Social Security, can they? This is money we already put into it. The biggest change is those 535 people back there. They can do anything they want and nobody thinks this is wrong.

Well people, I'm not in politics but I sure can see my way through this, a lot of fog but I have good eyes. I'm not alone in this little bit. I am writing so we can wake up the people who are in the closet hiding and saying it's too late; we had a chance last four years, but we failed. We didn't get rid of some of the people back there who we trusted so many years to do something for us old people, who were here before them, well some, anyway.

Oh, by the way, there are only two minds back there, one Democratic and one Republican. They all think alike. I'm sure we don't all think alike; otherwise we would all be in a world of we know what. Why can't they think for themselves? Most people think differently, don't they? Ask your elders and kids what they think. Well, you know about you. Oh sure, you think alike sometime, but not all the time.

This is what I'm talking about. Back there, they can think alike sometime but not all the time. This is why we have two sides. Why can't they get together for the important things?

Well voters, I hope you vote for yourselves, not for those people back there. And you hunters and people who have guns so we can hunt and shoot like we always have.

I would like to know what they have done for the last eight years, those who prompt us to change.
