Editor:
The suggestion that the emphasis of the temporary nature of the recently proposed extra penny sales tax for the library is a good one. Early on, the Star-Tribune endorsed the library project and in most of the stories that the Star-Tribune ran Library Director Bill Nelson repeatedly noted the temporary nature of the tax.
So why didn't the Star-Tribune, as an entity that endorsed the project, do a story about how the tax was used in 13 other counties in Wyoming, what kinds of projects where being done, the success (or failure) of the projects, and how the tax stopped at the end of the project.
I guess the Star-Tribune is too busy writing editorials rather than reporting!
