It is time people decide who to vote for. I say we need all the help we can get to find an honest candidate for our chosen seats in government. A lot has changed but one thing that never will is our desire for the American way of life. The pursuit of happiness. The right to freedom of speech.

We all want a real man or woman who cares about Wyoming and who is going to do right, not only for us, but represent our communities to the best of their abilities, right? This is where the responsibility falls to us to be aware of who is who and what is what.

I read a quote on Keith Goodenough's Underdog Report that reminded me it's the common folks who make this country great.

We want someone who cares about our future and does not want to take money to give out votes later on because of a donation to his campaign. These behind-doors politics have run our electoral colleges and candidates too long. When do we the people get interested enough to quit being so complacent and ask real questions to see who's who.

Ask is he really a Democrat or Republican? Why is he running? What is his record? Where do they come from? Where are their campaign funds coming from? What groups are they involved with, and then if you see something fishy, you let others know the truth so this person doesn't get into office, so we don't have the corruption or the free rides on taxpayers money.

Are we the people going to let big government take all our rights away? I wish Americans would stop being sheep to the slaughter and stand up and get some backbone! Get up and do some homework, see who doesn't take that all-mighty dollar to get elected and who does.

See who the right candidate is for you. Don't be blinded because you are afraid to stand up and say, my vote counts! Maybe some people are too lazy. If that is the case, they can't complain next time they are at the pump and the price is so high because they didn't vote on the bill to make it against the law to keep upping the price every time it changes hands.

I want someone who's in the race to try to make a difference in what they are doing, not just some overstuffed shirt that says yes to the largest amount of money.

If there is back-door politics going on, we had better be aware - we don't need another Florida ballot count.
