Only in America are men, women and children without health and medical care that is paid for. True, those who are covered well in other countries have money taken from their paycheck. But the amount they contribute is worth every cent because they can go to the doctor or hospital and get complete care for everything.

Insurance cost in America is "sky high" and does not cover everything, nor some illness that a person had previously. So that makes our cost of medical care higher and less effective. Many people in the states are turned away from getting the help they need because they don't have Insurance or money! This does not happen in other countries.

The insurance companies and doctors can poo-poo this and talk of the wait time for appointments and the cost other countries pay, but they know better!

The insurance companies in America can turn down the care a person needs, even though they have faithfully paid their high premiums for years. Now, doctors are now turning away the people with "low pay insurance" such as Medicare, or the poor that have no way to pay. This is happening in all the states.

Yes, you can go to the hospital here and get care. But that isn't the complete care that a person is suppose to receive from doctors.

The rich are taken care of and the poor are ignored as if their life wasn't as valuable.

The people on Medicare are paying a hefty premium out of their small checks and get little in return. Not everything is paid for as many may think. The person living on Social Security is still left with a bill. Yes, they can buy supplemental insurance, if they can afford it!

Only in America. Only in America. There has to be a better way than this.

Of course, many doctors are in the "business" now for the money. They are not doctoring because of the desire to help people, as they were in "the good ol' days."

Common Sense heals a lot of problems. I can't believe that there are now not enough doctors. The ratio has pretty much kept up with the rise in population.

Only in America are people now treated as "throw aways." Only in America!
