The cap and trade scam

Noting information from a number of sources, certain evidence stands out. This so-called "cap and trade" idea seems to be some kind of a scam, by claiming to tax "polluters" (when you really think about it, every person is one), but not "workers."

Here I see a neat deception, with the president and a number in Congress claiming that it is not a tax on working families. In this way they are putting their "foot in the door" claiming it is just a tax on the right to emit carbon (remember you do, too). However, that right to "emit" then becomes equivalent to a form of a scarce commodity. They then would require that (for now) businesses buy these rights. The cost of doing this will, as it must, be passed on in the form of higher prices for heating your home, owning and driving a car, buying manufactured goods, etc.

As Peter Orzac (President Barack Obama's budget director) told Congress, "those price increases are essential to the success of a 'cap and trade' program." So, you are to be indirectly, but certainly, taxed, whenever you buy anything, or use energy (windmills, solar panels, etc., have to be manufactured and maintained).

All this is being advanced in the name of stopping or slowing global warming. So, what is the next move in bleeding the people for more and more taxes, if and when they are emboldened by success in getting this dangerous theory accepted? Conceivably, a logical step forward then could be a further specific tax on every living, breathing, emitter.

The climate fear promoters have made, and would continue to make, millions promoting the idea that global warming is our fault, because we emit too much carbon (dioxide, etc.), while disregarding the natural heating/cooling cycles. Over the last 150 years, the reported one degree of global warming recorded is primarily due to the warming of large cities of the world. Exclusive of the large cities, there was essentially no warming attributed.

Democratically imposed fascistic type of control over carbon emitters (and water), that is being advanced in Washington, D.C., is dangerous, and is dead wrong. Plus, China, Brazil, and many other countries, and peoples, are ready to take advantage of the foolish burdening, and handicapping of America, and Americans. We must not let these things happen.
