Energy boom forums to be held
* Four conservation groups are hosting back-to-back forums, "Wyoming's Heritage at Risk: Drilling in the Bridger-Teton National Forest." Outfitter Mike Judd will be joined by local experts giving brief presentations on the state of energy leasing in the Wyoming Range, a drilling proposal in the Hoback Basin, and the status and future importance of the Bridger-Teton's Forest Plan revision process. * June 3, 14th Annual National Trails Day. A planned workday in conjunction with Shoshone National Forest in recognition of National Trails Day. This all-day event will take place up by the Pogo Agie Falls along the Middle Fork Trail outside of Lander. Lunch, tools, and supervision will all be supplied.

Fort Laramie fur trade
* June 3 & 4. Join the Fort Laramie National Historic Site during the "Fur Trade Fort Laramie" weekend event and explore the early history of the post and the central rocky mountain fur trade. This event will take place all day on Saturday and will continue through noon on Sunday. The weekend's activities will be fun and educational for the entire family. Devil's Tower Centennial events

Art exhibition
* Oct 15, 2005 - May 31, 2006 - Exhibit - Boom & Bust in the Overthrust, Evanston - An exhibit documenting the impact of the energy boom of the late 1970s on Evanston is now installed in the Museum's East Gallery. The exhibit features photographs, newspaper and magazine articles, memorabilia and personal memories from the ten-year period that transformed Evanston from a "sleepy little town" of 4,400 residents to today's small city of 11,500. Parent-education seminars
The Wyoming Children's Access Network provides parent-education seminars for divorcing, separated and never-married parents. The seminar is provided monthly in Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette, Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Sheridan and Torrington and provides information about the impact of parental conflict on children and teaches the parents skills to help with the difficult transition. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other adults close to the children are welcome to attend as well.There is a nominal fee for the seminar that may be waived upon request, based on need.
