No embezzlement

A story in Thursday's Star-Tribune inaccurately characterized a statement by Laramie City Manager Janine Jordan regarding the use of a city petty-cash account by Police Chief Robert Deutsch.

The story should have said that an internal examination of the matter turned up no evidence of embezzlement.

The Star-Tribune regrets the error.
