Michael Laurence Slaymaker was born December 18, 1972 in Casper, WY to Laurence "Larry" and Sandra Slaymaker. Michael age 36, died June 27, 2009 in Chadron, NE of natural causes. Michael attended school in Casper, NE and graduated in 1992 in Louisville, KY. On January 25, 1997 he was blessed with his beautiful daughter Ashley Nicole Slaymaker. In January 2006 Michael married the love of his life Dana' JoAn Snyder. On the day of their wedding he was blessed with his step daughter Chantel Snyder and shortly after a beautiful little boy Brock Michael. During his life he developed a love of cooking and became an amazing chef. Cooking in many restaurants all over the USA. Following his dream Mike was able to open a Fajita Cantina in Casper, WY, and Bordo's Smokehouse in Chardon NE. He and Dana' decided to leave Casper and move to Chadron in 2008 to raise their children in a small hometown environment. Mike was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother and friend. He was generous with his heart and always was willing to help everyone. His main goal in life was to take care of his family.

Mike is survived by wife, Dana'; daughter's, Ashley Slaymaker of Denver, CO, Chantel Snyder and son Brock of Chadron, NE; mother, Sandra of Casper, WY; sister, Lori Norby (Jay) of Casper, WY; grandfather, Laurence Slaymaker of Atkinson, NE. Numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Larry and grandmother's, Mary Slaymaker and Adeline Congleton.
