Memorial services for Marie I. Tate will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Matt Emmons officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Mrs. Tate, 76, passed peacefully at home after a valiant fight with bladder cancer and Alzheimer's disease.

She was born May 14, 1933 in Berthold, North Dakota. She married Cecil Tate February 17, 1956 in Seattle, Washington. They made their home in Wyoming shortly after. They moved to Casper in 1983. They owned and operated the Home Video Shoppe for 16 years.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil, daughters DeLayne Tate-Stewart (Dave) of Mesa, Arizona and Carol Emmons (Matt) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and son Michael of Riverton.

She was preceded in death by her son Danny and grandson Shawn. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
