Three members of the Hells Angels motorcycle club, in Cody for the annual World Run, appeared at the Park County courthouse in connection with their Wednesday arrests, according to a release issued by Lee Haines, spokesman for the joint Park County/Cody/Powell law enforcement agencies policing the rally.

The three appear to be the only ones to appear in court in connection with the Hells Angels annual retreat, according to police.

George Christie, 30, of Oak View, California, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 20 days in jail, with 18 of those days suspended. Christie was given credit for two days already served. He was fined $300 and ordered to pay $30 in court costs and a $100 victim surcharge. He was also placed on six months unsupervised probation and will be subject to random drug testing.

Martin Kada, 33, of Ventura, California, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended. He was given credit for two days already served. He was fined $400 and ordered to pay $30 in court costs and a $100 victim surcharge. He was also placed on six months unsupervised probation and will be subjected to random drug tests.

Peter Polk, 46, of Santa Barbara, California, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and made his initial court appearance. He next must appear in court for a preliminary hearing on August 7 at 1:30 p.m. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond. If bond is posted, Polk will be subject to random drug testing.

Two other Hells Angels members were initially arrested during the Wednesday traffic stop. Further investigation revealed that they were not involved with any of the drug transactions, and were released.
