Wyoming Whiskey in Kirby celebrated their grand opening in mid-October, making them the first bourbon distillery west of the Mississippi.
The company has taken care to make their product "Wyoming from seed to spirit," using Wyoming grains and corn and artesian well water from Manderson.
The whiskey won't hit the shelves for at least two years because bourbon has to age, but when it does, it will be a premium bourbon made and sold in Wyoming.
