CHEYENNE -- Trustees for Laramie County School District 1 have approved an increase in a contract with a consulting company in an effort to help improve student achievement.
The more than $136,000 increase brings the district's contract with Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning to more than $211,000 for its work at a local junior high.
Three junior high schools in the district didn't meet academic goals in the No Child Left Behind Act.
