SERIES HISTORY: BYU leads the overall series with Wyoming 42-30-3 in a rivalry that dates to Nov. 14, 1922. The Cowboys have won just two of 10 meetings since both teams joined the Mountain West Conference, but still hold a 17-15-3 advantage in games played in Laramie. The Cougars, who have won 14 of the last 16 and 25 of the last 32 meetings, could match their longest winning streak in the series with its sixth consecutive victory today.

193: The Cougars have scored 193 points in their last five games -- an average of 38.6 points per game -- with the Pokes, all of them victories. Conversely, with 51 points, UW is averaging just over 10 points per contest with BYU.

ANOTHER RANKED FOE: BYU, ranked No. 25 in this week's AP poll, will be UW's second consecutive ranked opponent and its third ranked foe this year. The Cowboys have held a lead in each of their two previous games with ranked opponents -- leading then-No. 2 Texas 10-6 late in the second half and holding off Utah 10-9 until late in the fourth quarter -- before eventually relenting down the stretch.

6: BYU and Wyoming have a combined six sets of brothers on their active rosters. The Cougars boast five sets of brothers currently on their roster -- Nick and Terrance Alletto, Rhen and Terence Brown, Braden and Chase Hansen, Houston and Matt Reynolds and Jared and Jordan Richardson -- as well as five more that include one active player and one currently on a mission. Wyoming has one set -- starting cornerback Marcell and Tashaun Gipson.

SHOOTING FOR SIX FIGURES: If UW announces an attendance of at least 17,269 fans, the program will surpass the 100,000-fan mark. The Pokes are averaging 20,682 fans per game thanks to a sellout against Texas, but will need some help to reach any sort of milestone. UW needs to average 23,737 fans over its final two home games to break into the top five in single-season attendance figures.

38: With a catch during the second quarter of a loss to TCU, BYU tight end Dennis Pitta has now caught at least one pass in 38 consecutive games, a stretch that dates back more than five years, prior to Pitta's church mission. UW senior wide receiver Greg Bolling has caught at least one pass in each of the last 20 games that he's played in, dating back to the second-to-last game of the 2007 season against BYU.

MOVING ON UP: UW defensive tackle John Fletcher failed to register a sack against the Utes, but will be chasing down a couple of marks over his final four games in brown and gold. Fletcher is tied for fifth in school history with 24 career sacks, three behind Patrick Chukwurah, six out of second place and 25 off the lead. Fletcher is also battling BYU's Jan Jorgensen and TCU's Jerry Hughes for the all-time Mountain West Conference sack record. Hughes currently leads, but the three are separated by just two sacks.
