After three weeks of practice, the Casper basketball teams will have three days on the court to sort out what works and what doesn't.
The McDonald's Invitational starts today in Cheyenne, and each one of the four Casper basketball teams has three games scheduled. Both Natrona County teams play Cheyenne East to open the tournament today, while both Kelly Walsh squads play Laramie today.
The Natrona boys, who are coming off a 24-2 season and a third-place finish at the Class 4A Wyoming State High School Basketball Championships, will be tested against the Capital City hosts on the Cheyenne teams' home floors the first two days of the tournament. The Mustangs face Cheyenne East at 8:15 tonight and Cheyenne Central at 8:15 Friday night. They'll wrap up the tournament with a game against Windsor, Colo., on Saturday.
The Kelly Walsh boys face Laramie at 1:15 p.m. today, then meet Windsor, Colo., on Friday and Cheyenne Central on Saturday.
The KW girls, too, will meet Laramie at 1:15 p.m. today. KW then plays Cheyenne Central on Friday and wrap up the tournament against Dakota Ridge, Colo., on Saturday.
NC's girls will play Cheyenne East at 6:30 tonight. The Fillies play Laramie on Friday and Cheyenne Central on Saturday.
