The Ogden Raptors drew first blood.

Fifteen games into the season, the Casper Ghosts finally got their first look at their Pioneer League Southern Division foe, but the date with last-place Ogden turned sour.

The Raptors scored three runs in the fourth inning and held on to top Casper, which entered the night tied for first in the division.

Ogden's Kyle Russell led off the fourth frame with a line-drive double and scored two batters later when Pedro Baez singled. Baez latered scored when Casper shortstop Carlos Martinez committed an error on a play that would have ended the inning and the Raptors added one more for good measure.

The teams traded runs in the fifth and Ogden added another in the seventh.

Angelys Nina hit his first home run in a Ghosts' uniform, a two-run shot that cut the deficit to 5-3 in the top of the eighth inning, but that's all the damage Casper mustered.

Ethan Hollingsworth (1-2) picked up the loss despite giving up just two earned runs in five innings. He gave up eight hits, walked one batter and struck out six.

Marcel Prado got the win for the Raptors and Luis Garcia earned his first save of the year.

The two teams meet again tonight and Thursday before returning for a three-game series starting Friday night at Mike Lansing Field in Casper.
