Roy and Barbara Cohee were high school sweethearts and have been married for more than 40 years. They have two adult children. The Cohees own and operate C&Y Transportation, an oilfield service business with 64 employees. Roy was elected to the Wyoming State House of Representatives in 1999 and served as the Speaker of the House from 2006-08.

In 2001, Sharon Darr co-founded the Central Wyoming Spay & Neuter Foundation with a budget of $500. Now working with an annual budget of nearly $21,000, the foundation paid for 346 spay and neuter operations last year. Darr is the vice president and trust officer of Hilltop Bank.
