  3. Neil Short

    Neil Short, who at age 60 trained for the Atacama Crossing, a 155-mile footrace across the desert in Chile. He competed in the race in April and made it through four of the seven stages before doctors suggested he drop out after contracting an infection.

  4. Jack Rosenthal

    Jack Rosenthal moved from Chicago to Buffalo in 1938, and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, with minors in political science, economics and military science and tactics. He served as a platoon leader and assistant regimental adjutant in the Korean War, then returned to Buffalo to manage the family businesses. He later became a well-known radio executive in Wyoming and around the United States.
