    Linda Burt was born in Denver, Colorado. She came to Superior, Wyoming in the 1970s and settled in Cheyenne in 1983. She is a graduate of the University of Wyoming Law School, and has been Executive Director of the Wyoming Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union since March 2000.
