A Northern Arapaho grandmother, Moss was born on the Wind River Reservation in Ethete, Wyoming in 1942. She said, "Growing up we weren't allowed to speak Arapaho at school. But our parents, as soon as we got home, spoke Arapaho to us. They always told us to go by the rules they have set for you (at school). Always go by the rules." She has two children, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
David Edington was the first wrestler to win four individual Wyoming State High School Wrestling Championships. He accomplished this feat for Saratoga from 1957-1960, and since then only 10 other wrestlers have won a title each year of high school. Edington graduated from UW in 1968 and has lived, taught, and coached in Ronan, Mont., since then. He is a member of the Montana and National Coaching Halls of Fame.
Roy and Barbara Cohee were high school sweethearts and have been married for more than 40 years. They have two adult children. The Cohees own and operate C&Y Transportation, an oilfield service business with 64 employees. Roy was elected to the Wyoming State House of Representatives in 1999 and served as the Speaker of the House from 2006-08.
Tom Forslund's passion, starting in the fourth grade, was politics. "I loved politics. I loved watching elections. I got involved in youth politics during my school years. And I wanted to do something with politics. But I didn't know how to make a living with it. But I wanted to be involved in something associated with politics." Forslund completed an undergraduate degree and went to work in the private sector, but found it was not rewarding at all for him. "So I went back to graduate school, went into public administration and ultimately got into local government and have been deep into politics ever since. It's a different way, not the classical way. But I figured out a way to make a living chasing my passion."

Fritz Shurmur raised his family in Laramie while coaching football at the University of Wyoming for 13 years. His 45-year coaching career included back-to-back Super Bowl appearances (XXXI and XXXII) with the Green Bay Packers. At his death in 1999 at the age of 67, he was the longest tenured defensive coordinator in the NFL.

Tom Stroock came to Wyoming in 1948 after graduating from Yale University and 3 1/2 years of World War II service in the United States Marines. He and his wife, Marta, were married in 1949, and have four daughters and eight grandchildren. Stroock worked as a roughneck on a drilling rig before starting an oil and gas properties firm, The Stroock Leasing Corporation, and Alpha Exploration Inc., oil producers, in 1952. Stroock began a storied political career winning election to the Natrona County school board. He was elected state senator from Natrona County for five separate terms. Tom and Marta started the Stroock Forum on Wyoming Lands and People in 1996. He served 3-1/2 years for George H.W. Bush as the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Guatemala.
