Welcome to the 3rd Annual Walk Across Wyoming! This is a program designed to engage the citizens of Wyoming in a more active and healthy lifestyle.
Join us for a fun summer wellness program. Your steps will take you on a virtual tour of the State of Wyoming and "stop" in more than 25 towns along the way. En route, you'll pick up fun tidbits about various communities, monuments, local events, and great places to eat. Your journey across Wyoming begins at Devils Tower and proceeds from east to west, finishing in Evanston. If you walk with us the entire 8-week program, you'll have walked nearly 250 actual miles or close to 500,000 steps! You'll be well on your way to a healthier, happier you!
In addition to increasing your overall level of wellness, you can win great prizes too! We'll be giving away weekly prizes and a grand prize at the end of the promotion.
Who: Anyone! Walk as a family, with co-workers, or individual
What: A wellness program designed to get Wyoming moving
When: June 8 – July 31, registration begins May 16
Where: We're taking a virtual Walk Across Wyoming. You won't actually have to hit the highways; you can walk in the comfort of your own home or neighborhood.
How: If you are a new user, please create a trib.passport and fill out the registration form. The trib.passport will serve as your registration for many of the promotions by the Casper Star-Tribune. If you have already created a trib.passport, this is your login. You must click the Sign Up link to officially sign up for this program. New this year, you are able to form groups. You can join your company group by entering your company name. To join or create a new group, go to the Groups page.
You may register for this program at any time, however; to be eligible for the grand prize drawing, you must walk at least 70% of the total, or 340,876 steps. You may submit your steps online on a daily or weekly basis.
